William "Bill" F. Beauchamp began performing real estate appraisals in 1977. In 1986, he started as an independent appraiser, working out of his home office, building a client base, and increasing his proficiency. In 1993, he founded The Preferred Appraisal Group, a small firm based in Timonium, MD, that specializes in residential real estate appraisals.

Sadly, Bill passed away from Lou Gehrig's Disease in 2012, but his wife and business partner, Jan Beauchamp, continues his legacy as owner and President of The Preferred Appraisal Group.
